A good day starts with gratitude! According to Harvard Health, being thankful for something or saying thank you to someone daily helps you feel positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. Start with being thankful for the first thing that pops into your head. Then move on to writing someone a short thank you note.

Movement is medicine!
Physical activity boosts cardiovascular health, which gives you the endurance to make it easier to do the tasks that your daily life requires without feeling worn out, according to Sun Health Wellness. Walking is the easiest way to get more movement. Walk in place for 10 minutes. For more of a challenge walk 4000 steps in a day. Track your steps with a fitness tracker. I use my apple watch.

Saving is power!
Saving helps face the unknown, gives peace of mind and independence, and makes you feel proud, according to Business Insider. Don't be discouraged as we are experiencing inflation. An easy way to start is to find a vessel: jar, cup, or piggy bank, and make a mindful choice to put a coin in each day. The amount does not matter. Penny, nickel, dime, or quarter.

Always circle back to your goals. Taking a break from time to time is essential however many people don't. Taking a break not only gives you a chance to rest, it can also promote clearer thinking and greater productivity.
